Hello to all you grown-and-sexy people out there,
I'll be redesigning Fly Brother over the next month, and as a part of that upgrade, I'm asking you, my lovely readership, for your opinions and feedback.
I'd like to know what you like about the blog, what you don't like, and what you'd like to see more and/or less of. More music or video? More favorites lists or how-tos? More city snippets or personal narrative? More essays on race or history? What would you like to see that I haven't come up with yet? How can I make the blog better?
Let me hear it, folk; lay it on me. I appreciate and thank you for your comments and patronage.
Paz e bem,
Fly Brother

More personal narrative! I feel like your great writing skills come out best when you are being candid about yourself and what you are experiencing. Those are the stories that make me burst out laughing or just really "seeing" who you are (or at least the "you" that you reveal). Even if you are writing about music or other topics, it's cool when you explain why said topic is interesting, cool, funny or whatever to YOU.
I really enjoy reading your posts so I like knowing when I'm going to get my next fix. Even if you can only commit to definitely posting 2-3 times a week, it would be cool to just be like "folks you can find new posts here every Wednesday and Friday" so your readers know when they can get their next dosage.
I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Hey Bro,
I like it all but if I had to adjust something, I'd ditch the black background, I can't make out all the type. I'd also like more race and culture essays but you know that's just my thing!
I agree with Brandie.Although the essays about race and history are always a welcomed source of information,I'd definitely like to see more personal narrative.Latin America via your own life, experiences and perspective.Apart from that, not much else needs to change,IMO yours is still one of the best blogs out there.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Leave it the way it is, it works for me at least. Many thanks.
Greetings from London.
First, let me thank you folks for the comments; I appreciate all input that helps me be that much flier!
Brandie and Orange Glitter: I will indeed include more personal narrative on the blog. I think it's good practice for my fiction, which does, in fact, need some practice. Also, the posting schedule is definitely a technique from 279 Days that I'm going to incorporate; as of now, my schedule had been to post every third day, but personal craziness threw a wrench into that.
Fly Girl: I think you might just get your wish on both counts, though race will certainly filter into my personal narratives; it's definitely something that "colors" my experiences abroad (wokka, wokka).
Cubano: Many thanks to you, player. Saludos.
I'd like to see some photos (taken by you!) of your surroundings!
